Healthy Nature Walking provides Cozy healthy green walks. Does this thought make you happy and do you also want to let people walk in the green of their environment? We are looking for a new contact person for our walking group in Schalkwijk (Molenwijk). Our current contact person wants to pass the baton on at the end of 2024 after 10 years. Now she still has plenty of time to hand it over to you at a leisurely pace. By occasionally walking along as a walker or guide, you keep in touch with the walking group. This walking group starts every Saturday at 10:00 from: Zorgcentrum De Molenburg, Groningenlaan 12 (corner Betuwelaan), Our free and weekly walks of about an hour are walked at a leisurely pace. The walkers always look forward to the weekly meetings in the different seasons. What will you do? As a contact person, you are in contact with both the walking group and the team of Healthy Nature Walking. Sends the 6-weekly newsletter to all walking guides. Make schedules in consultation who will be at the front of the route. (Guides are themselves responsible for unexpected replacements.) You can participate in activities such as Een tegen Eenzaamheid without obligation and in consultation with the walking guides. As a walker / guide, you regularly walk with the walking group from the meeting point for about an hour to 75 minutes. Afterwards, you drink a cup of coffee or tea with the participants. What else do we ask? As a contact person, you keep in touch with the team of walking guides and the Gezond Natuur Wandelen foundation. You forward the 2-monthly newsletters to the walking guides. You participate in additional activities such as the Week against Loneliness at your own discretion. You provide the Foundation with information if something changes or if assistance is needed. You sometimes also guide the walking group together with another volunteer. We will help you with this in the beginning. You do not need any special knowledge. As a walking guide you need: • interest in health and nature • reasonable fitness, you can walk for an hour at a leisurely pace • good social skills What do you get in return?
